n8n Workflow Not Working or Failing? We Fix It Today
A workflow that used to run and now fails, stalls or never triggers usually has one root cause: a credential that expired, an API that changed what it returns, a node that behaves differently after an n8n update, a run that times out, or a trigger that only works in the editor. We find which one it is on a short call, then fix it and show you why it happened so it does not come back.
What we check first
- The execution log for the first failing node and the exact message it returned.
- Credentials and tokens for every service the workflow calls, and whether they expired or changed scope.
- Whether the workflow is activated for production, not only tested in the editor.
- Node versions and settings that changed after an n8n upgrade.
- Timeouts, memory and queue settings on self-hosted instances, including Docker setups.
- Error handling: whether an error workflow exists so the next failure alerts you instead of silently stopping.
What you get
- The workflow running again, with a short written note on the cause.
- An error workflow that notifies you (Slack, email or WhatsApp) when anything fails from now on.
- Optional: a review of the rest of your instance for the same weak spot.
How it works
- Book the free 15-minute call or email us what is happening. You hear back the same business day.
- We diagnose on the call with screen share or read-only access, and you get a fixed quote the same day.
- You share access, we fix it, in your accounts and on your servers. You keep ownership of everything.
- You get a short written note of the cause, the change, and how to stop it recurring.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need access to my n8n instance?
Yes, a user account on your instance or a temporary credential is enough. We work inside your n8n, we never copy workflows to our own, and you remove the access when we are done.
My n8n is self-hosted on Docker. Can you still help?
Yes. Self-hosted and Docker instances are most of what we work on. Give us SSH or panel access and the docker-compose or environment file and we take it from there.
What if it is a five-minute fix?
Then we tell you what to change on the call, and there is nothing to pay.
How do I make an n8n workflow active or live?
Save it, then switch the Active toggle at the top right. Only active workflows run on their trigger (schedule, webhook production URL, polling); the Execute button runs a test with test URLs. If the toggle will not turn on, a trigger node usually has missing credentials or settings, and the error shown there is the fix.
Where does n8n store workflows?
In its database: SQLite by default in the n8n data folder, or PostgreSQL when configured, which we recommend for production. Credentials sit in the same database, encrypted with the instance's encryption key, so back up both the database and that key. You can also export any workflow as JSON from the editor.
