Migrate from Zapier or Make to n8n Without Breaking Anything

If Zapier's task limit or price has become the problem, moving to n8n usually cuts the bill because n8n charges per workflow run rather than per step, and self-hosted n8n has no run limit at all. We rebuild each Zap or scenario in n8n, run both side by side until the outputs match, then switch over. Nothing goes dark during the move.

What we check first

  1. An inventory of every Zap or scenario, its trigger, its steps and how often it runs.
  2. Which ones are worth moving, which are dead, and which need a different design in n8n.
  3. Where n8n should live for you: n8n Cloud, your own server, or our managed hosting.
  4. Credentials and data that must be re-authorised, and anything with history that must be preserved.

What you get

  • Each automation rebuilt in n8n and tested against the original's output.
  • A parallel-run period, then a switch-over date you choose.
  • Documentation for every workflow and an error workflow that alerts you on failures.
  • A cost comparison based on your real run counts, not estimates.

How it works

  1. Book the free 15-minute call or email us what is happening. You hear back the same business day.
  2. We diagnose on the call with screen share or read-only access, and you get a fixed quote the same day.
  3. You share access, we fix it, in your accounts and on your servers. You keep ownership of everything.
  4. You get a short written note of the cause, the change, and how to stop it recurring.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the number and complexity of automations. We quote per inventory after the free call, and simple accounts with a handful of Zaps are often done within a week.

Will my automations stop working during the move?

No. The old and new versions run side by side until you are happy, then we turn the old ones off.

Is n8n really cheaper?

For multi-step workflows at volume, usually yes, because n8n counts one execution per run while Zapier counts every action step as a task. Our pricing guide shows the comparison with the vendors' own numbers.

Is Zapier still worth it, or should I move to n8n?

Zapier is worth keeping for a handful of simple two-step zaps run by non-technical staff; its per-task price only hurts at volume or when zaps grow to many steps. The move pays off when your bill tracks task counts you cannot control, when you need branching, loops or AI steps, or when data must stay on your own server. Our pricing guide compares the three on current list prices, and the migration runs side by side with the old zaps until each one is verified.
